Little Bluestem 'The Blues' (Schizachyrium scoparium)

This Little Bluestem is a warm-season grass that is native to eastern and central United States. This tough, drought-tolerant and vital grass, features upright, blue-green blades with red accents and is a bit shorter than its relative ‘Standing Ovation’ which is also planned for our garden. Host plant for various butterfly species and provides food and habitat for birds. The ‘The Blues’ variety is thought to be the likely parent of the ‘Standing Ovation’ variety. We need 18 of these for the garden. We need 50 of these for the garden.
