Saturday, May 9, the Garden Club of Yorktown hosted its annual plant sale, a favorite spring tradition for local gardeners. Shoppers selected from hundreds of annuals — from Angelonia to Zinnias — along with curated container collections, hanging baskets, specialty vines, and striking dahlias.

The sale also featured dozens of perennials and native plants suited to a range of growing conditions, including Agastache and Monarda for sunny beds, Rudbeckia for mixed light, and Helleborus for shade. Experienced gardeners were on hand to offer guidance.

Proceeds from the sale support the Garden Club’s ongoing beautification projects throughout the Yorktown community.
