Little Bluestem 'Standing Ovation' (Schizachyrium scoparium)

Little Bluestem is a warm-season grass that is native to eastern and central United States. This tough, drought-tolerant and vital grass, features upright, blue-green blades that give architectural structure to any mixed perennial garden bed. Host plant for various butterfly species and provides food and habitat for birds. The Little Bluestem ‘Standing Ovation’ variety is a recipient of the “Gold Medal Plant Award” by the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society.
